    American Esoteric Laboratories Inc, (AEL), is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team.  


    Position Summary:


    Lead Resource on IT Team responsible for Data Entry-File Maintenance updates in all Laboratory Information, Billing and clients systems for AEL 



    Principle Responsibilities: 

    • Track & Setup new test codes, Custom Panels, Client codes, Special Prices, Physician Providers, Loinc Codes, etc from Sales, Account Mangers, Clinical Lab Administration, and Billing departments.
    • Track & Setup Modified\Edit test codes, Custom Panels, Client codes, Special Prices, Physician Providers, and Loinc Code request from Sales, Account Mangers, Clinical Lab Administration, and Billing departments
    • Assist Lab Operations & IT departments with identifying and rectifying process improvement items associated with the File Maintenance-database setup process.
    • Provide Clinical level knowledge , guidance and assessment of requested test definition setups, practical relevance and impact before processing such request.
    • Aide in the coordination, communication and scheduling of taking new and modified clinical test live. Maintain any QA associated with standard validation processes required by compliance, IT or Lab Operations.



    Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Clinical Lab Discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, etc).  Associate Degree in required disciplines plus solid work experience would be acceptable.



    • 3+ Years Working in a Clinical capacity with Laboratory Information Systems setups (Medtech, MLT, etc)
    • 2+ years Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access etc…)
    • Some experience and knowledge of Billing, CPT & Diagnosis coding, NPI’s and Loinc’s would be a plus.


    Licensure, Registration, Certification:




    Physical Requirements:


    Work requires little or no physical effort. Lifting or performing other work requiring light physical exertion (up to 30 pounds) is intermittent (not a routine part of the job.) and secondary to the job.


    Environmental Conditions:


    Work is performed under basically normal working conditions as in a standard office environment.
